Watercolors on Paper
Breath in the fresh air, feel the warmth of sunshine and watch the trees sway as you visit a nearby village. There are somethings which a city can rarely offer.
I was cleaning my drawers yesterday, and I re-discovered some old watercolor paintings and sketches which I had made years back. And what an unexpected joy it was! The same joy which I used to experience as a child when I would stumble upon a small metal box burried under a pile of books. It would have my saved pocket money in form of a few coins and two or three ten rupee notes, a pocket money which I had carefully saved and comfortably forgotten. Besides those coins and notes, I would find some saved Jari-threads, Silk threads, little kundan-stones, and stars which I had kept away for my crafts work. And I felt this joy again yesterday, albeit for my painting and sketches.
Water colors have the distinct advantage of being totally hassle-free in terms of usage. Just pick up a drawing sheet, brushes, colors and off you go. Since colors dry fast they are very quick to work with.
I will posting those works in a span of few days. Keep visiting….
