It’s my birthday bash, and the cake looks great. I wait till mom comes closer to hold my hand as I blow the candles and cut the cake.
Mono chromatic paintings have a different look than a painting filled with hues and tints. To me, Mono-chromatic or a painting with one or two hues is like a concert hall where audience are quietly listening to sweet melody. It grows gradually. You stare at such a painting and it talks to you slowly.
Whereas a painting with huge number of colors is like a concert hall where the audience are hooting, applauding and making all kinds of noises. It perks up the feeling instantly. The eyes move around the length and width of painting absorbing every color and every detail.
“Birthday Bash” comes in the latter category. What do you say?
